Support
Support is essential when adopting a child. A lot of families do not think so. They tend to hide out or “nest’ when their new child comes home. They may think its like getting any other child. It’s not. Many adoptive families in the past did so alone. They were isolated in their experience because few others around them were adopting. Few others understood or cared. For them, it was a unique experience. Project 1.27 however is different. We are not just asking people to adopt, we are asking whole church communities to adopt. Because a lot of these kids are tough. A few isolated passionate families will not be able to save these children. Only the body of Christ together can save these kids. Ask the parents who have done it both ways-with and without Project 1.27. The difference is amazing. And the difference is the church.
